The Wolf Pack baseball team will open its home schedule Friday and do so with not one, but two games.
Nevada will host Virginia Tech in a doubleheader Friday, with the first game scheduled for 11 a.m. and the second one to start 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The Wolf Pack also will play games against the Hokies on Saturday (1 p.m. first pitch) and Sunday (noon first pitch).
The schedule was changed Thursday with inclement weather projected in Northern Nevada this weekend. The doubleheader originally scheduled for Saturday was moved up a day.
