Another week, another wave of injuries for the Wolf Pack football team.
The victims this time are starting nose guard Salesa Faraimo, who season and likely college career is over, and backup receiver Victor Gonzalez, who will miss at least the next month.
Faraimo originally injured his pectoral during the Buffalo game on Sept. 17 and was initially listed as probable against Purdue last week when it was deemed he had a strain. But further tests revealed a torn pectoral, a much more severe injury.
“Unfortunately we’ve lost ‘Uce’ for the season,” Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian said, invoking Faraimo's nickname.
