The Nebraska women’s basketball team won a game this season against Purdue when the Huskers committed 27 turnovers, but that’s the exception more than the norm.
In a couple of recent losses, turnovers were among the Huskers’ troubles. Nebraska is giving up possessions while giving opponents another chance to score. NU is shooting only 43 percent from the field in Big Ten Conference games, so it hasn’t always shot well enough to overcome its turnovers.
The Huskers (16-8, 7-6) have lost three of their last four games going into Sunday’s game against No. 17 Michigan State at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
