The Nebraska Cornhuskers dropped back down to 11 commits on the season when Manuel Allen pulled a surprise and decommitted from Nebraska and committed to Bobby Petrino’s Louisville Cardinals.

Allen a 6-2 four star wide received is rated the 182nd best player in the nation by 247Sports composite in the 2018 cycle. He is rated as the 39th best wide received in the nation, while being the 26th best player in the state of California.
Besides both Nebraska and Louisville offers, Allen had offers from Notre Dame, Southern California, Oregon, and Washington among others.
