After not being picked in Thursday night's NBA Draft, former Nebraska guard Tai Webster will try to earn a spot with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Summer League.
Webster's spot was announced by the Nebraska basketball Twitter account Friday evening.
Webster will begin play with the Hornets July 1 in the Orlando portion of the league, which features 10 teams. Other NBA Summer League stops include Utah (July 3-6) and Las Vegas (July 7-17).
Webster worked out for the Hornets in mid-June. It was one of four workouts for the 6-foot-4 New Zealand native, who also worked out for the Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors after averaging 17 points and five rebounds per game as a senior at NU.
