Steven M. Sipple: Pressure on a QB? Lee should take a peek at J.T. Barrett's situation

After taking a deep dive into quarterback situations across the Big Ten, three observations quickly bubble to the surface:

1. Ohio State and Penn State clearly lead the pack in terms of overall strength at the position. With due respect to Michigan, the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions not only return excellent starters in J.T. Barrett and Trace McSorley, respectively, but their backup situations are extremely promising, particularly in Happy Valley.

2. It's difficult to confidently rank Nebraska's situation because junior transfer Tanner Lee is a bit of an unknown entity, having last played in 2015 at feeble Tulane.
