Tanner Lee rolled to his right on a bootleg play and found no receivers open.

The Nebraska junior quarterback showed patience. He waited a couple seconds, surveyed the field and zipped a short completion to Tyjon Lindsey, who actually was fairly well-covered.

Lee is poised. He's accurate. In this layman's eyes, he appears to make good decisions far more often than not.

A lot of quarterbacks would've taken off running on that particular bootleg or forced a throw downfield.

No fewer than three NFL scouts -- from the Broncos, Jaguars and Ravens -- watched the Huskers' entire practice Thursday at Memorial Stadium.
