Nebraska Football: Sam Foltz Leads Defensive/Special Teams Honors For 2015 Huskers

Monday evening, the Big Ten Conference named their Defensive and Special Teams award winners, as well as their all-conference teams.

The group is led in the Nebraska Cornhuskers corner by their All-B1G Punter.

Nebraska Junior Punter Sam Foltz was named the Big Ten Eddleman-Fields Punter of the Year. The Greeley, Nebraska native averaged 44.38 yards per kick, which led the Big Ten and was tied for 14th Nationally this year. Foltz was named first team All-B1G by both the Big Ten head coaches and media that cover the conference as well.

Other Husker players recognized on Monday include:

- Sophomore Placekicker Drew Brown was named second team All-B1G by the coaches, while being third-team by the media.
