Jablonski throws no-hitter as Huskers split doubleheader with Purdue

Kaylan Jablonski threw a no-hitter and MJ Knighten hit two home runs to lead the Nebraska softball team to a five-innng 8-0 win against Purdue in Game 2 of a Friday doubleheader at Bowlin Stadium.

Jablonski, a sophomore, threw the 38th no-hitter in school history. She struck out five, walked one and threw just 51 pitches.

Knighten homered in the first inning and added a three-run shot in the third inning for her 19th and 20th homers of the season. The junior finished with five RBIs.

Four errors proved costly for the Nebraska softball team in a 4-3 eight-inning loss to Purdue in the first game.
