Despite dual loss to Gophers, Husker men show some bounce in their scores

The Nebraska men’s gymnastics team was just hours removed from one of its lowest-scoring meets of the year.

After competing at Iowa on Monday, the Huskers returned to Lincoln at 2 a.m. the next morning and coach Chuck Chmelka thought a lighter day of practice was needed.

But when Tuesday afternoon rolled around, the Huskers were not taking anything easy.

“They were disappointed and angry, too,” Chmelka said.
