MLB Hot Stove Rumors: Jimmy Rollins hopes to continue playing in 2017

Former NL MVP Jimmy Rollins is not ready to hang up his spikes.

Rollins, who turned 38 last month, hopes to continue playing next season. He was released by the White Sox on June 15 this past season and did not hook on with another team.

Prior to being released Rollins .221/.295/.329 (74 OPS+) with two home runs and five stolen bases in 41 games. Last season he hit .224/.285/.358 (79 OPS+) with 13 home runs and 12 steals in 144 games with the Dodgers.
