Week Four in college football produced the usual array of memorable plays and wild endings but little shakeup at the top of the Amway Coaches Poll.

The top seven teams stayed put with Alabama easily retaining the No. 1 position it has held all season. The Crimson Tide received 61 of 64 first-place votes after an easy romp past Kent State.

Ohio State held steady at No. 2. The Buckeyes, who had the weekend off, retained their two first-place nods with No. 3 Clemson getting the last one. Louisville held steady at No. 4 on the eve of next week’s huge showdown with Clemson.
