Players from Kentucky, Oregon, Gonzaga and Dayton trying out for Canadian national team

Four college basketball players from 2015 NCAA tournament programs will be apart of tryouts for the Canada men’s basketball Pan Am team this week, according to an official release.

Gonzaga forward Kyle Wiltjer, Dayton guard Dyshawn Pierre, Oregon wing Dillon Brooks and recent Kentucky commit and guard Jamal Murray will all try out for the Pan American Games, which begin on July 21.

A six-day try-out will commence from July 12-17 before the final roster is announced on July 18. Playing alongside NBA players like Anthony Bennett and Andrew Nicholson, this should be a positive learning experience for those players and Canada could be an international basketball force in a few years.
