The NBA preseason comes to a close tonight as teams gear up for the start of the regular season on Oct. 27. With just four days to go until the games start counting, teams are ramping up their preparations for the long haul ahead.

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich will coach the USA Men's Basketball Team from 2017-2020 after Mike Krzyzewski steps down following the 2016 Olympics.

Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said he'll wait to see how point guard Derrick Rose is feeling before determining if he'll play in tonight's preseason game against the Mavs, reports ESPN's Nick Friedell. Rose is recovering from a fractured orbital bone under his left eye and is questionable for the season opener against the Cavs.
