The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers have officially announced the details of their NBA Draft trade involving the No. 1 overall pick. The complete details, including the pick protections are below.
76ers Get: No. 1 overall pick
Celtics Get: No. 3 overall pick and future first round pick
The future first round pick has various protections. The Celtics will get the Lakers' 2018 first round pick, but only if it falls between the No. 2 and No. 5 picks. If it doesn't, the Celtics will get the higher of the 76ers' 2019 first or the Kings' 2019 first round pick, provided it isn't No. 1 overall.
