As Carin Gabarra embarks on her 25th season as the head coach of Navy women's soccer, the satisfaction she gets on a daily basis never changes.
"Midshipmen love the battle, love seeing if they can step up," Gabarra said. "They want to work and they don't want anything given to them. It's their drive that I love the most. They go after winning."
Gabarra wants her team to go after a few more wins this fall, as the Midshipmen found themselves on the short end in five overtime losses last season, finishing 9-11-2 overall and losing to Boston University in the Patriot League tournament semifinals.
