ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Saeed Nelson scored 19 points and added four steals to help lead American University to a 74-58 win over Navy on Wednesday night.
The win for the Eagles avenges a loss earlier in the season to Navy.
Four other players finished in double figures for American (7-21, 4-13 Patriot League), which shot a very efficient 61 percent from the floor and 54.5 percent from 3-point range. Mark Gasperini finished with 13 points, Matt Cimino and Charlie Jones each scored 12, and James Washington chipped in 10.
