Nashville Predators: Watson signs three-year, $3.3 million deal to return

Another day, another signing for the Nashville Predators. And, yet again, General Manager David Poile avoids full arbitration hearings with a player. The club announced this morning that forward Austin Watson signed a deal to remain with the Predators. The contract is slated for a three-year team, with a full payout of $3.3 million over that time frame.

Watson was drafted 18th overall by the Predators in the 2010 NHL Draft. The 2016-17 season was his third on the ice with the Predators, and it was his best showing so far. In 77games, Watson tallied 17 points and 99 penalty minutes.
