Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs has not been kind to the Nashville Predators. After knocking off the Anaheim Ducks in a memorable Game 7, the Preds find themselves dropping the first two games on the road against the San Jose Sharks.
According to NHL.com, the Sharks boast the highest power play percentage of teams remaining in the playoffs and ranked number three during the regular season. So far, the Predators have given the Sharks five power play opportunities and they have capitalized on three of them.
In the first game with Nashville up 1-0, the Preds took a penalty early on in the third period.
