We all know it to be true. General Manager David Poile built the Nashville Predators around the defense. Their ability to block pucks, bang in the corners, and aggravate their opponents is noteworthy. As is their ability to score. They are the key piece to the puzzle for the team.
That is, until the JoFA took the world by storm in 2016. Of course, the addition of P.K. Subban certainly opened up opportunities for the offense.
Now, the team possess great offensive options and fantastic defensive skill. And, as I said in a previous post, the defense now must compliment the offense.
