The Nashville Predators fans have had a long standing love affair with centerman Mike Fisher. As much of it has to do with his charitable efforts in the Music City and marriage to country mega-star Carrie Underwood as it does his on-ice ethics- where he certainly is no slouch.
The Alternate Captain put on a show in the second round of last year’s postseason, spearheading Nashville’s most dangerous forward line on his way to 6 points in 7 games. Ultimately, however, he was unable to will his team past the San Jose Sharks into the Western Conference Finals.
