And, another player re-signed. The Nashville Predators will be the home of young forward Viktor Arvidsson for the next seven years. The contract, worth a combined $29.75 over the seven years, means that two-thirds of the infamous JoFA line will lead the team for at least the next five seasons.

Arvidsson, now 24 years old, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. In his first full season on the ice with the Predators, he led the team with 61 points and 31 goals. He also lead the entire NHL in short-handed goals during the 2016-17 season.
