Nashville Predators Sign Mike Ribeiro to a Two-Year Contract

Ribeiro, 35 (2/10/80), set a Predators franchise record for assists by a center (47) in 2014-15, tying for 12th in the NHL in the category. He also ranked second on the team in points (62), tied for the third-highest mark by a center in club history. The Montreal native led Predators forwards in average ice time (18:44) during the regular season, and paced all NHL forwards in average ice time during the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs (23:21), tying for the team lead in assists (4), and tying for second in points (5) in the process.

Since the 2003-04 campaign – his first full NHL season – Ribeiro has played the ninth-most games of any NHL forward (831), averaging 62 points a season and posting the seventh-highest assist total (478).
