Pesky forward Gabriel Bourque put up career low numbers this past season with the Nashville Predators but the hard-nosed forward made an impact on what was one of the team’s best seasons in franchise history.
The 24-year-old bottom six winger is set to be a restricted free agent this off season and it’s unclear on what his future holds in Nashville, if there is one that is. It will be interesting to see if the team re-signs Bourque. He flies around the ice and possesses the puck quite nicely after he wins his battles in the trenches but doesn’t find the score sheet at an astounding rate which may place the tag ‘expendable’ come this summer.
