Some Things I think I think:
There are folks complaining about David Poiles lack of spending. According to General Fanager, the Preds actually are currently the lowest in Cap Spending. That doesn’t include Colin Wilson’s raise yet. I sure would rather save some money for next year when we have to resign Filip Forsberg, Seth Jones and Mattias Ekholm to restricted FA contracts and hopefully want to sign Cody Hodgson long-term. I don’t envy the Blackhawks sell off this year.
I think that the Predators got a great deal on the Craig Smith and Colin Wilson contracts.
