Former San Jose State, Miami FL guard Rashad Muhammad interested in UNLV as grad transfer

Former San Jose State and Miami FL guard Rashad Muhammad is interested in graduate transferring to UNLV, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Rashad Muhammad, a Las Vegas native and Bishop Gorman HS graduate, spent his first two seasons with San Jose State before transferring to Miami FL. With the Spartans, he averaged 13.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in 58 appearances.

Muhammad transferred to Miami FL after his sophomore season, expecting to be a key player in the Hurricanes’ 2016-17 season, but he was suspended the first three games due to violation of team rules.
