Former Pacific guard Ray Bowles commits to Fresno State

Former Pacific guard Ray Bowles has verbally committed to Fresno State, Scout’s Evan Daniels and CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported Friday afternoon.

Bowles just completed his third season with the Pacific Tigers, averaging 13.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game and knocked down 46 three-pointers. Bowles finished in the top 10 of the West Coast Conference in minutes played, field goals and two-point field goals, free throws, usage percentage and points produced this past season.

The Modesto, California native will add another guard to Fresno’s rotation. The Bulldogs return Jahmel Taylor, Jaron Hopkins and Deshon Taylor next season.
