The news of the last Boise State commit was still floating around social media Thursday afternoon when Coach Bryan Harsin unexpectedly tweeted out his familiar “Go Broncos” to allude to another recruit making a verbal pledge. Shortly after, Mountain West Connection was able to confirm the player in question this time was local lineman Keegan Freeborn.
Freeborn mainly plays offensive line at Rocky Mountain High School, but said he is expected to play Nose Guard at Boise State. With recent commit Scale Igiehon also possessing the ability to play NT, Freeborn gives the Broncos another versatile player to can slide around a bit on the defensive line, something DL Coach Steve Caldwell has looked for in his players in the past.
