The Montreal Impact announced that they have acquired Argentine midfielder Adrián Arregui on loan from Club Atlético Temperley
The 24-year-old midfielder was rumored to have links with the Montreal Impact and when the Impact acquired an international roster spot from DC United it looked like this deal would happen.
The arrival of Adrian Arregui was conditional to the addition of an international spot. As the Montreal Impact already maxed out all of those, a trade was required and D.C. United was the dancing partner. Arregui will join the club after passing his medicals and upon receiving his international transfer certificate.
