The Montreal Impact named Ignacio Piatti the club's MVP for 2016, hence receiving the Giuseppe Saputo Trophy. Hassoun Camara was named Impact Defensive player 2016.
Piatti had 2 excellent consecutive seasons with the Bleu-Blanc-Noir, confirming his status as one the best offensive players in MLS. His 17 goals represent an amazing statistic knowing the he does not play as a striker but his offensive flair was always part of his portfolio.
