Montreal Impact cruises past DC United, will host the New York Red Bulls on Sunday

The Montreal Impact has proved to the rest of the league and itself that miracles can happen in the MLS playoffs knockout round. Winning 4-2 at RFK Stadium was a feat for a team that has had its share of drama, only a few weeks from the playoffs.

4 goals scored by the away team is not a coincidence though both goals by DC United, courtesy of Neagle and Kemp, could have hurt Montreal in a home-and-away series.

The Impact goals were scored by Laurent Ciman, Matteo Mancosu (2) and Ignacio Piatti.
