Hockey Canada announced their captains for the World Cup of Hockey today, and they have named Shea Weber an alternate. No surprise as to who is wearing the C, as that will be none other than Sidney Crosby, with Jonathan Toews taking the other alternate spot.

The leadership group that Canada is rolling with includes these three players who have been around since the 2010 gold medal win at the Olympics in Vancouver.
