Montreal Canadiens Center David Desharnais Out For Two Weeks

The Montreal Canadiens will be without center David Desharnais for the next two weeks. Desharnais left the third period of the Habs 3-2 shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues last night. He didn’t return, and the team said today he won’t be back until Christmas.

Desharnais isn’t having the best season of his NHL career. In 25 games this year, he has three goals and six assists for nine points. If this injury happened more than a week ago, most fans wouldn’t be all that bothered by it.

However, the Canadiens are missing their top center in Alex Galchenyuk.
