Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Conor McGregor holds the promotion’s record for pay-per-view (PPV) buys, so it should come as no surprise that he also set the high-water mark for earnings, as well.
To the tune of about $40 million.
That’s a far cry from the chump change a “broke bum” like opponent Eddie Alvarez generates under the UFC banner (sample), despite holding the 155-pound title after beating the snot out of Brazilian banger Rafael dos Anjos back in July.
