Sam Stout Retires From UFC At 31

It was reported on this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight” that Stout has decided to all it a career.

The writing was pretty much plastered all over the cage wall after Stout was TKO’d last month by Frankie Perez. It was Stout’s third straight defeat via some form of knockout.

While Stout is only 31, he has been in the game since 2003, compiling 20-12-1 professional record along the way.

Stout was never able to get his career back on track after the unexpected death of coach and brother-in-law, Shawn Tompkins, in 2011. “Hands of Stone” went just 3-6 after Tompkins’ abrupt passing.
