Michael Bisping scored one of the biggest upsets in MMA history when he knocked out Luke Rockhold to win the middleweight title at UFC 199.
Bisping, who has been considered a high-level gatekeeper throughout most of his UFC career, entered the contest as a massive underdog but shocked the world when he floored Rockhold with a couple of left hooks early in the fight. ‘The Count’ followed up with ground and pound and knocked Rockhold unconscious, forcing referee ‘Big’ John McCarthy to intervene at just 3:36 of the first round.
