Jorge Masvidal is currently the #5 ranked welterweight in the world, and is slated for a title eliminator against Demian Maia at UFC 211. Should he come out victorious, he would likely be next for UFC champion Tyron Woodley, who is a former training partner and friend of his for years.
Woodley mostly holds camp at Roufusport nowadays, but according to ‘Gamebred’, he wouldn’t have a problem fighting his fellow American Top Team standout.
“I’ve known Woodley for nine-plus years, ten-plus years. We’ve worked out together plenty,” Masvidal told Submission Radio.
