Eduardo Dantas is out of Bellator 144, but that doesn’t mean Marcos Galvao won’t be putting his bantamweight title on the line on Oct. 23.
Sources close to the situation told MMAFighting.com that Bellator offered former champion Joe Warren a rematch against Galvao on short notice. The deal isn’t finalized yet, but both parts have agreed to meet at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. Combate first reported Dantas’ injury.
Galvao (17-6-1) and Warren (13-4) fought for the first time in March, when "Loro" locked an impressive second-round kneebar to tap Warren and win the 135-pound championship.
