The preliminary card got underway with TUF 20's Randa Markos defeating fellow castmate Aisling Daly by unanimous decision. Markos impressed early by landing solid strikes and threatened with arm-triangle attempts and an armbar in dominant positions. The Canadian threw the Irishwoman down with a throw from a standing headlock, but Daly reversed her and then ended the round having cut her face with an elbow.
