Albuquerque police are seeking an arrest warrant for UFC light heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones after his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run accident in Albuquerque, N.M.
Witnesses told police that Jones ran from the crash that hospitalized a pregnant woman after grabbing a handful of cash from the car he was in.
Police say the crash happened when the driver of a rented SUV ran a red light. The official police report on the incident, first obtained by MMAfighting.com on Monday, identifies Jones as the suspect who fled the scene of the accident on foot. MMA paperwork belonging to Jones was found inside the vehicle, along with an Enterprise rental car agreement in Jones' name.
