MLS 2017 Schedule: A look at TV coverage this season

A few years ago you had to be a true die-hard fan of the MLS to find and watch matches on TV without the pay-package. Then came along MLS Soccer Sunday and fans finally had a semblance of a pattern to their MLS TV viewing habits.

The idea was that ESPN2 and FS1 would air a double header of MLS action on Sunday evenings, usually 5 and 7 pm ET. In 2016 not every weekend was able to fit into that time slot, but for the most part there were two MLS games on each Sunday. Adding in the Friday night Unimas match, and there was a consistent feel to when fans could catch games.
