Minnesota United: 3 key takeaways from the Houston match

Already very thin due to the ongoing CONCACAF Gold Cup, the last thing Minnesota needed was more injuries. That’s exactly what they got. Joe Greenspan had to exit the match after a head-to-head collision with Jèrôme Thiesson. The team is hopeful that’s it’s only a broken nose and not a concussion, but there has been no official word on the injury.

Late in the match, star striker Christian Ramirez was slow to get up, and was seen limping in the locker room after the match. Just like Greenspan, however, there has been no official word on the injury.
