Don Garber is Confident Miami will be MLS’ 24th Team

Former LA Galaxy player and world soccer legend David Beckham has been working hard at creating an MLS side in Miami, Florida since November of 2012 when MLS commissioner Don Garber announced the league’s interests in placing an expansion team there following the folding of former MLS side Miami Fusion back in 2001 and after FC Barcelona failed to make a team in 2009.

Other than small updates from David Beckham and rumors here and there, we haven’t been really given much to believe that Miami will be part of the expansion project that involved Atlanta United, Minnesota United, and LAFC.
