Gordon's Rep, Marlins Recently Started Discussing Multiyear Deal

Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reported the sides just started talking about a new deal and things are still preliminary in nature. He also passed along comments Gordon made about the situation during an appearance on Wednesday's Hot Stove on the MLB Network.
"My agent is doing the talking," he said. "They're just keeping me in the loop.
