The Miami Marlins reached an agreement Thursday to acquire starting pitcher Dan Straily in a trade with the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for a package headlined by pitching prospects Luis Castillo and Austin Brice.
Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports first reported the deal was close. Jim Bowden of ESPN confirmed the swap was complete and noted outfielder Isaiah White is also heading to Cincinnati.
