With the most recent campaign for new football facilities in the south end zone, Mizzou is in need of generous donations to boost funding. On September 8th, Mizzou received a donation of $10 million dollars towards the campaign, which came as friendly surprise to Sterk and the Mizzou athletic department.
As of today, September 28th, Mizzou has now announced another gift of $1.675 million. Of which $1 million of the donation will be directly used for the funding of the new $75 million football facility. The remaining amount will be used for other athletic department initiatives.
"We are so grateful for this very generous gift," Sterk said, “It is critical to keep momentum building with our drive for new facilities, and this is exactly the shot in the arm we need to keep that moving forward.
