The Nate Howard saga was probably over long before it really became anything. The modus operandi of Missouri has been to dismiss athletes with legal troubles, to handle those matters.
Not all legal matters are a game changer, but some are more telling than others, and this was a case where Howard’s primary run-in with the law was probably – at the time – the beginning of his end in Columbia.
Unfortunately, Howard also received a speeding ticket in late March, which he never paid nor appeared in Court, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
