While basketball has been on fire in its recruiting efforts, football has taken a bit of a back-burner with all the excitement drawn from basketball’s recent success.
While there isn’t a competition between the two programs, it is refreshing to be able to mix in a little football recruiting news, as the season draws closer.
Michael Thompson
Michael Thompson, a defensive tackle at Parkway North, received an offer from Missouri. The four-star defensive tackle registered 56 tackles and nine sacks in 2015.
Currently, the Tigers have 11 defensive tackles on the roster – three sophomores and eight juniors, which means that Thompson and Trout will likely see limited playing time.
