Hooooo boy, that was a butt-kicking. On senior night at Mizzou Arena, Mizzou Women’s Hoops allowed Ole Miss to score the first five points of the game, then went on an 87-43 run and cruised, 100-65.
For a while, the Cunningham sisters, Sophie and Lindsey, were outscoring the Rebels by themselves. But since both played under 30 minutes, the Rebels were at least able to outscore the two by a 65-53 margin. Still ... 53 points! On 18-for-22 shooting! Sophie had 32 and inspired these words from Ole Miss head coach Matt Insell:
