Floyd finds his footing in Mizzou offense

COLUMBIA, MO. • Just a few quick updates from Friday's Mizzou practice, the last before Saturday's closed scrimmage:

Richaud Floyd

Slot receiver Richaud Floyd sat out all drills while undergoing concussion protocol for a hit he took from safety Anthony Sherrils earlier in the week. The head injury notwithstanding, if there's a most improved award for the offseason, Floyd might be the leading candidate for Mizzou's offense.

Coaches and teammates can't say enough about his development. Floyd, a redshirt sophomore from Gulfport, Miss., caught four balls last year for 94 yards.
